Our minimum ratio of staff
to children is as follows:

Babies (up to 2 years of age)                              
1 adult to 3 children

Toddlers (2 years of age)
1 adult to 4 children

Pre-school (3 - 5 years of age)
1 adult to 8 children

There is always a qualified Nursery Nurse supervising each age group. Staff ensure that they know all the children in their area and each child is assigned a ‘Keyworker’ with whom both child and parent / carer can build up a special relationship.  We believe that continuity is very important and will always strive to achieve it.

Objective standards
of care and education
All activities in the nursery are governed by our policies and procedures, which form part of our Operating Plan. This Plan has been submitted to Ofsted as the objective standards against which we will provide child care and early years education. Parents and carers are welcome to view the plan at any time and should liaise with
the Manager for this purpose.
