Our Soundwell Nursery is a fantastic purpose-built setting located in secure premises on the corner of Pembroke Road and Church Road, on the City of Bristol College’s grounds behind Kingswood Leisure Centre.
The nursery is divided into two groups – a baby unit for under two’s and a pre-school for two to five year olds. As you would expect from a purpose-built setting, the facilities are excellent with every detail designed to meet the children’s needs (we love the low windows and free-flow from indoors to outside).
Formerly owned and run by the College as Willow Tree Day Nursery, the setting became part of Mama Bear’s on 1st July 2009. The nursery is open all year round (except bank holidays and Christmas Week) and welcomes all families as well as college students and staff.

OPEN DAY AT SOUNDWELL NURSERY
Saturday 27th February 10am - midday
Our Soundwell nursery in Pembroke Road is having an open day on Saturday 27th February.
All parents and families with children under under 5 years are welcome to attend.
We will be having lots of fun with indoor and outdoor games, face painting, arts and crafts, cake decorating and a bouncy castle.
Parents looking for a nursery place now or in the future are welcome to come and see the extensive facilities, meet the staff and chat with other parents with children in the nursery.
The nursery is based in modern purpose-built premises on the junction of Church Road and Pembroke Road behind Kingswood Sports Centre in Soundwell.
The setting has a baby unit and a pre-school and offers care for all children aged 0 to 5 years from the local area as well as students and staff at the college.
It is open 51 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 7.00pm.
