Mama Bear’s Day Nursery in Clifton is based in a wonderful 19^th century building in the heart of the district. The premises have been used continuously as a day nursery for 60 years!

Located within walking distance of Whiteladies Road, Pembroke Road, Park Street, Bristol Zoo and the Downs, this nursery is the ideal place for parents living in the west of Bristol and/or working in and around Clifton and the City Centre. Many of the parents who use us work in connection with the University, BRI, BBC as well as local professionals.

This nursery is also a fantastic melting-pot of different cultures, backgrounds and nationalities as we care for many children whose parents have travelled to Bristol on long-term business from abroad. As we teach them English, so they teach us their own language.

Parking in Clifton isn’t great, so the nursery is best accessed on foot or by public transport. Local bus routes are the number 8/8A, 9/9A and X62. There are single yellow lines in front of the nursery where you can park for five minutes when picking up or dropping off your child. However our nursery staff are more than happy to meet children at the car when necessary.
